What is the alcohol policy? 
We strongly discourage the use of alcohol while paddling. It's against the law to operate a watercraft while intoxicated. We recommend you adhere to all Legislation, Federal & State laws pertaining to paddle sport safety.

What clothing should be worn on a trip?
Wear suitable clothing for the temperature, hats, tennis shoes or water shoes, and keep a change of clothes in your vehicle for after the trip.

Cancellation Policy:    You have one week to cancel out any canoes, other wise you pay $10.00 per canoes not used.

Where car keys should be kept?
Leave valuables and car keys in a safe place; don't take them on the river with you. We will keep your car keys in the office if requested.

Coolers:  All coolers must fit on laps. No big coolers!  For safety and litter control, we request no glass beverage containers and/or Styrofoam coolers be allowed on the rivers. We ask that you bring back what you took; more help keeps our river clean. Please note:  Due to the relatively short length of the three hour trip, and time schedule lunch stops are discouraged. We provide picnic tables here, or can give you directions to several near by parks or Lake Michigan beach to enjoy an extended lunch.  

Need extra time buy it for $5.00 an hour.
